The breakthrough came unexpectedly. On a New Year’s morning in Goa, India, while staring at the ocean with her journal, she had a vision that unburdened her. Instead of one heavy, traditional album, she decided to break the music into three distinct chapters, each a “mini-album” recorded in a different geographical location representing a distinct phase of her life and career. This approach allowed her to stay “tethered to the present moment,” with the motto, “Start with the first one, and let the first one lead you to the next”.
