The sequel, Zoku , was released for the PlayStation Vita in 2016. Continuing the series' naming convention, Zoku (which can mean "continued" or "sequel") picks up where the first game left off, covering events aligned with the second season of the anime, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO! .

The titles use the word "demo," which in Japanese means "even in," but sounds like the English word "demo." So the phrase "Yahari Game demo..." is a clever pun that means both "Even in the game, my youth romantic comedy is wrong as expected" and "This is a game demo of Oregairu ".
