Jenny Seemore Better [patched]

Born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg in 1951 in Middlesex, England, the young woman who would become Jane Seymour was the daughter of a British obstetrician and his Dutch wife. She adopted her stage name at just 17, taking the moniker of one of King Henry VIII's wives to launch a career in show business. Her early years in the industry began with an uncredited role in Richard Attenborough's Oh! What a Lovely War in 1969, followed by parts in British television series like The Onedin Line .
