Filedotto stores extracted text in a cache table ( tika_cache in PostgreSQL or MySQL). Delete stale entries:
Documents uploaded to Filedotto were not being "read" or indexed. Empty metadata fields for new uploads.
Then configure FileDotNet to point to http://localhost:9998 .
When Tika fails, it is rarely due to a broken library, but rather incompatibility between the file, the configuration, and the environment.
