The story centers on the ill-fated Shijima family, which has suffered a chain of inexplicable deaths over the past century. Players assume the role of Haruka Kagami, a successful young mystery novelist, who is invited by her medical consultant, Eiji Shijima, to his family’s estate to investigate a mystery. The discovery of a skeleton on the property sparks an investigation that entangles her in four murder cases across different time periods: 1922, 1972, and the present (2022).
