The film introduces , the God of the Void and creator of the symbiotes, voiced by Andy Serkis. Trapped in the dark core of the planet Klyntar, Knull sends terrifying alien hunters known as Xenophages to Earth. They are searching for the Codex —a biological key created when Eddie and Venom bonded, which has the power to free Knull and destroy the universe.
