The film opens in classic horror-movie fashion. A young couple, and Rita (Priti Sapru) , are driving through a dense forest at night. Feeling exhausted, they pull over and discover a massive, abandoned Haveli (mansion) tucked away in the woods. The house is silent and dark, providing them a place to rest.
