Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5 is the fifth installment in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series. The game features a vast array of characters from the Naruto Shippuden series, including Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno, among others. The gameplay involves one-on-one battles, with players using a combination of ninja techniques, jutsu, and items to defeat their opponents.

The game retains the classic 3D arena fighting style the series is known for, where players use a combination of basic attacks, chakra, and powerful jutsu to defeat their opponents. However, Ultimate Ninja 5 introduces a major new mechanic: assist characters. Before a fight, you can choose a support character who can be called in to perform a special attack, opening up new strategic possibilities and tag-team combos. These assists can even combine with your main character to perform unique dual-character jutsu, adding a fresh layer of depth to the combat.
