Both wordlists are composed of various other wordlists in the same directory and are automatically updated whenever one of their components is modified. The old DirBuster wordlists remain in SecLists but now have the “DirBuster-2007” prefix to highlight their age.
Linux is the native environment for most security tools. Depending on your distribution, you can install SecLists via package managers or manually via Git.
What (like Burp Suite, Gobuster, or Hydra) do you plan to use with it? Do you have disk space limitations on your testing machine?
