Right-click any folder and select to open the app window. Click on the menu icon or activation prompt.
Windows has a built-in feature that lets you change folder icons to different shapes or pre-installed colors without any third-party software: the folder you want to change. Select Properties from the context menu. Navigate to the Customize tab. Click the Change Icon... button at the bottom.
