"Libertadores" is scored for a full symphonic wind band. The instrumentation is extensive and requires a large ensemble with strong players in every section. In addition to standard wind band instruments (piccolo, flutes, oboes, bassoons, clarinets in all registers, saxophones), the work requires a large and highly capable percussion section, as noted above.
